Bray Wyatt may have been right about something. No matter how loud or how long the WWE Universe chants for Daniel Bryan, he will never beat the machine, or have a legitimate run with The WWE Title.

With Daniel Bryan coming off a short lived heel turn, and suffering a concussion in his cage match Monday night Raw, It seems the WWE may finally succeed in their ultimate goal of once again giving The WWE Universe, not what it wants, but what they THINK they need.

The injury may have occurred when Jimmy and Jey Uso suplexed Bryan from the top rope, causing him to hit the back of his head on the mat. although the exact extent of the injury is unknown, work is backstage that the head injury was pretty serious

Bryan isn't the first WWE superstar to get a major push by the company only to suffer a injury. Dolph Ziggler won the World Heavyweight title from Alberto Del Rio on Raw the night after WrestleMania, but was shelved weeks later due to a concussion injury at a Smackdown taping.

WWE newcomer, Fandango, was also out of action for a month with a concussion, removing him from a title match with Wade Barrett and The Miz at WWE's Payback pay per view.

With Daniel Bryan's return to the ring this Monday night to announce he will be taking on Bray Wyatt at The Royal Rumble, the WWE Universe is now left to ponder, what exactly is the plan for Daniel Bryan on The Road To WrestleMania?

The only two viable options I see for Bryan to be able to continue his push, and eventually get back into the title picture are, The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels. Bryan mixing it up with either of these two WWE Legends would not only be a interesting match for fans, but would also give Bryan the opportunity he needs to prove he can hang with one of the legends of this company.

A match with Shawn Michaels would not only be  a chance to face a legend of the ring, but also a chance to add a very personal angle to the mix, with Michaels training  Bryan for his debut in the WWE years ago.

Shawn should  have no problem jobbing to Bryan, and would mix very well with his in ring style , resulting in what could be one of the best high octane matches of the year.  Not only giving HBK fans one more match to remember him by, but also serving as a launch pad to get Bryan back in the title picture after WresteMania 30

A match with The Undertaker however, would be a more complex option. There is no way The WWE will let the streak end with Daniel Bryan. Losing to Daniel Bryan just isn't a fitting end to The DeadMans's streak. Yes, it would give him a major push in the company, but look what happened the WWE gave him a bit push by defeating a major Superstar.

The WWE using Bryan as a place holder opponent against Randy Orton just proves the lack of faith the WWE has in him. And if the WWE cant have faith in Daniel Bryan as anything more then the guy who wrestles the real guy, then that really isn't a reason to end the streak of The Undertaker, now is it?

All WWE fans know by now, that Bryan's road to WrestleMania wont start with winning the Royal Rumble match,  but with this newfound momentum after his face turn last Monday night, what exactly does the WWE have in store for his road to WrestleMania, and his future as a champion in the company?

Below is my full interview with TeamDBS from the British Bulldog petition . These wonderful individuals, Michael, Dave and Darren, all stated very valid and understandable  reasons to induct this man into the WWE Hall of Fame. Read the interview in its entirety below, and let us know what you think. Also, feel free t sign the petition now by clicking here!

How did this British Bulldog petition come about?

Michael Finney: It was just a small idea I had which I asked Davey's Daughter, Georgia, if it was ok with her to start this petition... I heard how the fans were saying Davey should of been in the Hall of Fame, and I agreed... So, I thought I'll try and help out the best I can. I didn't expect for the petition to make such a huge impact!

Darren Hackett: As for myself getting involved, I've known Georgia nearly 2 years now she told me about Michael's plan for the petition and asked if I would sign and share to pass the word on as I'm a huge fan myself, I signed shared and got talking to Michael and have been helping ever since.

What accomplishment or quality of the British Bulldog do you think most qualifies him for the WWE hall of fame?

Dave Boddy: I knew Davey since I was 5yrs old, he captivated me with his athleticism and passion of the squared circle, he was always approachable and well respected by all the boys in the back. He holds the quality within his matches and in ring work, the best way to observe his qualities is watching his matches. You can just see how smooth and fluid he was in the ring, and the quality shows also via his title reigns as WWE European Championship, and all his title reigns throughout his career. Look back onto his SummerSlam match in Wembley Stadium, the ovation, the love, and the psychology of the match was astounding. He was one half of arguably one half of the best tag teams ever, British Bulldogs, their matches with Hart Foundation started a trend in WWE at that time, they were having five star matches and obtaining standing ovations daily. Davey is forever known for his natural strength and agility, and for his ability of ribbing the boys in the back. He still is a major memory in fans around the world, and this petition shows that with the unification of all of us. My love and respect for Davey stemmed from how he treated me backstage at Stampede Wrestling shows. Also, when WWE purchased Stampede Davey was one of the deals made with that purchase, as Vince McMahon and the WWF saw the potential and talent in Davey. Davey was a professional wrestler at heart, his place is in the Hall of Fame.

Michael Finney: For me, the two amazing and accomplishment matches that stands out the most is SummerSlam 1992 in London, England against Bret Hart and the finals for the European Championship against Owen Hart in 1997. However, I feel all his matches was amazing.

Dave you said you spent time with Davey boy Smith during your Stampede Wrestling days? What is your fondest memory of your time with him?

Dave Boddy: Oh, this is always a sensitive question as the time with Davey was amazing. My fondest memory is when we were doing a Stampede Wrestling show and I was in the back visibly upset, I don't recall as to exactly why I was, however, anyway Davey saw this and with his famous accent called me over to sit on his lap, he then proceeded to tell me to relax and said he had a gift for me, it was a small pair of dark navy blue jeans with little hockey players all over them. He told me he wanted me to be happy, then I left to see my dad. Sadly, those pants are nowhere to be found.

Does anyone else have any fond memories of Davey Boy Smith in person or from watching him perform?

Michael Finney: Yes ! I remember when Davey came over here in the UK on October 2nd 1999 with the WWE. The WWE made Davey as a heel over here in the UK... and I remember I wasn't going to buy that story because over here Davey is more than just a icon, he's a wrestling god and still is to this day. I remember I had my England flag and I was going crazy for him while other fans round me was treating him as a heel, Davey broke out of that character to give me a smile, and just that smile mean a lot to me.

Darren Hackett: Mine personally has to be from March 92 in my home city of Sheffield, before Davey battled Bret for the IC title, he thought I.R.S in a one on one, to see his ring skills in person was amazing, I know it sounds corny but Davey was what I would call a master of the art, his knowledge of the ring, moves, his opponent was uncanny, and for his build was great. He wasn't the tallest wrestler in the world but he easily stood toe to toe with any who he faced.

Have you sent this petition to the WWE yet? Have they took notice of the
petition?

Michael Finny: I have sent the petition to the WWE Twice, I haven't heard nothing from them about this issue. I have contacted the WWE over the phone but sadly they haven't took much notice yet.

If a 2014 HOF induction doesn't happen. What is your next plan of action?

Darren Hackett: We keep going, in my personal opinion several people have gone in who have no place in there, it is supposed to be the WWE hall of Fame, wrestling, I don't agree with the celebrity wing, where someone shows there face for 2 weeks and gets inducted. I don't agree with this at all, Davey put his body on the line week in week out, sacrificed time away from his family to d the job he loves to help give his children the upbringing they deserve, and cemented his place in the HOF.

Have you spoken to anyone in the WWE community and gotten them on board?

Darren Hackett: Sean Waltman, Roddy Piper and Tatanka have been great, sharing the petition links numerous times via twitter, Sean Waltman in particular.

Michael Finney: We have asked number of WWE Hall of Famers to share the petition on their Twitter accounts and they have done. The petition is supported by Davey family Georgia and Harry Smith as well Diana Hart. Diana and Harry and Georgia has been amazing with me and with rest of the Team with the petition. The Hart's/Smith family have been more them amazing with the petition.

Tell me how you guys went about getting the Hart family involved . What members of the family did you speak to?

Michael Finney: Well, I would like to say I been a huge Hart fan for 20 years since 1993 when I was only a child. I always been loyal to the family and I always well, for 20 years I always wanted to meet a Hart or have some kind of contacts with them. I joint Twitter and I notice Diana Hart was on Twitter, so, I said Hi ect... then I got to know Georgia (Diana's and Davey's Daughter) and we just started to know one another. Then I seen how the fans was asking them when do they think Davey will be in the Hall of Fame and I wanted to help the family in respect, and I came up with this idea about starting a petition at the time I didn't know how big the petition would get until now. The first person in the world I told about the petition was Georgia Smith and she supported the petition and still do. Then when Diana and Harry found out what I was doing they 100 percent had my back.

What was it like talking to the Hart family?

Darren Hackett: when I first messaged Diana and Georgia I was I suppose star struck thinking oh god they are famous oh god what do I say, they're going to think I'm a nerd etc but straight away you get the idea of the type of people they are, They are some of the most down to earth people I have the pleasure of speaking to. they are always willing to speak to fans and talk pretty in depth which is very welcoming as sometimes people in the public eye can be totally the opposite to that.

Michael Finney: Agree with Darren. I often talk to the family. I met Georgia for the first time in Herefordshire and she made me welcome and she really is a lovely person. I am looking forward on meeting Diana and Harry one day.

Darren, earlier in the interview you spoke about some of the HOF inductees not deserving their spot over guys like Davey Boy Smith. Can you say which inductees you think specifically don't deserve a spot?

Darren Hackett: I believe that the inductees of the celeb wing are un-worthy of the right to a HOF spot, to me the HOF is about the accomplishments of individual stars or team up stars who had a legendary career in the business, look at Hogan, huge wrestling Icon, might not in my opinion been the greatest wrestler but what he did for the business world wide is today un-matched and deserved. But then people who come in for 2/3 week and then get straight in is wrong, yes alright Trump hosted 2 WrestleMania's but that isn't worthy of a HOF spot neither is working for DX for a month what Tyson did, again very undeserving.

Dave Boddy: Abdullah the Butcher, never worked for WWWF, WWF, or WWE and is known for his stiff, hardcore style, and has yet to ever win a WWE championship, yet he is in. Drew Carey, he appeared at a rumble event, paid off Kane, and was eliminated, and yet he is in. Just these two names alone send shivers down the spines of fans, Drew was even booed out of the building.

Michael Finney: I personally don't have nothing against the any celebs but this is a wrestling awards. The awards are meant for the wrestlers.

Dave Boddy: "Superstar" Billy Graham even requested to be removed from the WWE HOF after Abdullah was inducted.

With the current crop of WWE Superstars today who would you have liked to see Davey Boy Smith have a match with and why?

Michael Finney: personally, I would loved to seen Davey vs. John Cena... Their skills would be a great match but some fans might not agree with me.

Darren Hackett: I differ from Michael there too, current WWE I would have Punk, Punk has shown he can go toe to toe with numerous superstars and has great in ring matt skills. though i would love to have seen Davey face Kurt Angle if he was still in the WWE.

Dave Boddy: Bulldog vs. Tyson Kidd.

And what makes Bulldog versus Tyson Kidd so appealing to you?

Dave Boddy: Tyson Kidd was partly trained by Bulldog, and their chemistry would be somewhat comparable to Owen and Bulldog, and Tyson and I both know that would be a dream match of his.

Who was your favorite tag team partner of Davey boy Smith ?

Darren Hackett: No offence to dynamite at all but i loved his team up with Owen, the chemistry was there for all to see. though his team up with Sting in the old WCW wasn't too bad.

Michael Finney: Owen and Jim Neidhart vs. Davey and Bret Hart.

What was your favorite match of the duo and why?

Darren Hackett: Austin and HBK vs. Owen and Davey , simply for the legendary status of all competitors in the ring, Austin and HBK weren't too bad as a team but the chemistry of Davey and his brother in law was immense.

Michael Finney: Well, you have Owen with his amazing skill and speed and Jim Neidhart is a real powerhouse, then you got Bret who at the time was the best and in my heart he still is. Then, you have the powerful British Bulldog with his own skills and another powerhouse. it really was a treat to watch.

Do you think Davey boy Smith will be inducted first as a singles competitor ir as a tag team?

Michael Finney: That's a very good question, I'm not sure, but I know a lot of fans would love to see the Team of the British Bulldogs going into the Hall of Fame as a tag team.

Dave Boddy: I personally believe as tag or faction. His singles career isn't mentioned as much as his career in Hart Foundation and Bulldogs. He had great matches as single, however, he is more recognized as a tag partner. As whenever you speak of Davey, dynamite kid soon follows. And I only see Dynamite getting in with Bulldogs.

Darren Hackett: I think his legacy lives on as both a singles and tag competitor, It wouldn't surprise me if he went in first in the Hart foundation above singles and even the Bulldogs.

If you were granted five minutes with the WWE HOF board to state your case for why Davey Boy Smith should Be inducted into the HOF. What would you say?

Dave Boddy: The WWE Hall of Fame was stated to chronicle the legends of the WWE ring, to chronicle all the legendary champions, tag teams, managers, and celebrities, if this is the case not having Davey Boy or the Bulldogs in it is a slap to the face of the fans and superstars. The WWE Hall of Fame is meant to pay homage to the superstars of yesterday to help inspire and motivate the stars of today, tag team wrestling in WWE lifted in part due to the Bulldogs, the European championship was prestigious due to Davey Boy having great matches and holding the title with pride and passion. Davey belongs in the Hall of Fame more than Abdullah, please explain to me how Abdullah is in, but not the Bulldogs or Davey Boy?

Michael Finney: I would say Davey brought the British and rest of the European wrestling fans in to watch the WWE. In the UK Davey was their Hulk Hogan. Davey meant so much to the British and rest of the European fans all over. Summerslam 1992 speaks for itself. Davey main event many UK Pay per views even when he wasn't a champion and that speaks on its own. Davey as a singles wrestler carried all of the UK on his own and no disrespect to any British Wrestler, but Davey in my eyes was the only true British Wrestlers so far who has made a huge impact in the world of Pro Wrestling.

Darren Hackett: Davey helped to establish European wrestlers in the US, I feel that without his contributions today's stars such as Sheamus, Barrett, Regal and macintyre might not have been looked at, Davey was our ambassador, OUR British champion.

When smith died in 2002 at the age of 39. What exactly was the impact of this to you personally and the wrestling community?

Dave boddy: I was with my father as we were celebrating his birthday, I decided to go online to read some wrestling news. I was scrolling through the headlines and missed the one, which was the story on Davey passing. Immediately I was bombarded with memories of him and I growing up, naturally I cried and it ruined the night for me. Knowing all the struggles he had with his back injury, and all the pain he was going through it made it harder to accept he was gone. He was so tough and strong and to know he was in so much pain was hard to accept. A part of me after awhile felt this way he didn't have to live with so much pain, however, selfishly j wanted him back. I could not stop thinking about Harry and Georgia. He loved those two so much, and I saw him with Harry a lot, and he was so genuine and honest with them both. I miss him dearly now, and know that he will forever be remembered.

Michael Finney: I was only 18 years old and I was at college and I remember I was on my dinner/lunch break and I went into the computer room to check up news on WWE website, and I remember Davey picture came up on the screen saying Davey passed away and I'm not just saying this to get people to read or acting but I was really upset and I was shocked and I remember saying to my father, if there any event just for Davey over here in the UK then I want to go to pay my respect to him. I think Wrestling haven't been the same without Davey, it feels like there is a huge hole in the middle where Davey use to fill it, and from my heart no one won't able to take Davey place. When I watch Hart and Soul DVD and they talk about Davey, my heart bleeds for Diana and Georgia and Harry all the time.

Darren Hackett: He still is a huge loss to this day, he died a master of the mat, listening to other superstars and legends speak of Davey as they do you notice that not one wrestler has anything bad to say about him. As for myself I miss seeing the superstar that I adored as a child growing up, watching the red white and blue heading towards the ring.

When the WWE their schedules tour dates in Europe. Do you feel the new generation of British fans are being cheated out of seeing a true superstar, since smiths passing?

Michael Finney: Yes ! even although it wasn't WWE fault over Davey's death. I been to a lot of WWE Events since Davey passed away... The shows there something big missing even although the WWE is doing amazing job but as a person who grew up watching Davey I can feel there is something missing. It's pretty upsetting and it's shame that the new fans couldn't get to see Davey wrestler because when he did Wrestler it was more than a treat to the Fans. Davey was OUR King of the Ring.

Darren Hackett: In a sense yes, the current crop of stars are good yes, I'm a huge fan of Punk and his dynamic but aside from the Undertaker theirs know one really who has the 'WOW' factor, Davey was the 1st to slam the Undertaker, that will never be taken from him but it's just little things like that that people remember, nowadays 'wow' moments are so few in-between.

Which WWE superstar today do you think most resembles Smith's in ring abilities and charisma with fans?

Michael Finney: That's a good question !, to me no one in the world as the magic as Davey and Owen had but to pick a superstar close by, I would say CM Punk who seems to have amazing in ring ability, if Daniel Bryon team up with Davey, it reminded me of the old British Bulldogs as a Tag Team.

Darren Hackett: If you watch Harry in the ring you can see Davey in him, he WILL be huge, the way he wrestles is similar, a type of brawler but very technical, so for resembling him I'd say Harry Smith, charisma id say punk, most would say cena, but cena is too baby face, id say Punk cause he can get people eating from palm of his hand, whether he's a face or heel.

How does it feel today to go to a WWE event knowing your favorite superstar that you watched growing up , isn't in attendance Does it diminish the value of the event?

Darren Hackett: It shouldn't, but when you watch at times you look back and think hmmm Davey would have done that different.

Michael Finney: Very sad and upsetting. I think it does diminish the value in the events in some way, I think it does hurt a lot of older fans, mainly Davey fans... I know the WWE tried to push others British Wrestlers after Davey but, the Magic isn't just there, it seems like since Davey gone the magic as gone. I will always believe Harry Smith will carry on fighting in memory of his father.

Ok, The One Night Only PPV in 1997 marked the first time Smith ever lost on a WWF card in the United Kingdom. Do you think the move to do that tainted in a way one if his greatest career accomplishments?

Michael Finny: I believe in one way it was Smart of the WWE to let Shawn win The European championship, because  fan's didn't expect it, but in another way, I thought it was totally wrong and it was very hurtful to The British fans. I didn't agree with how Shawn won the belt. At the end of the show you could see Diana had real tears in her eyes and that was upsetting to see. I personally feel it would of hurt Davey a lot,  because he was so proud of being the hero to his fans not just in England but all over the world. I remember when Davey lost the match I got so mad at the TV when I was only 13 years old. It did upset a lot of the WWE Fans I believe.

What are thoughts and feelings on Smiths final televised match against a up and coming Eddie Guerrerio  on Sunday night heat for The European title?

Dave Boddy: The thing with Eddie is he was a natural and can work with ANYONE on any night, Davey was the same, they both obtained the ability to adjust their move set to accommodate who they were working with, nonetheless they had a good match. I might even have to YouTube it and watch it again.

How did you feel when Smith retired from wrestling? Was there anything you would have liked to see him do before he retired from wrestling?

Dave Boddy: I feel it was necessary for his health and his family, I wished before he left they had a farewell tour for him. Of course, naturally I'd also loved to have seen a Heavyweight title run.

Michael Finney: I didn't know Davey had retired until after he sadly passed on. I also wasn't aware of his health issues until the recent years. I personal wished in his last run in the WWE they pushed him more, just like they did in 1992 and 1997. I also wished they put the world title on him. However, I believe Davey didn't need the world title to show the world how great he was because his in ring action speaks on their own without any championship belt. He was true a god giving talent.

Dave Boddy: I would have loved to have seen Bret vs. Davey for The Heavyweight Title.

Darren Hackett: 100% agree with Michael, him winning the title before
retirement would have been a little obvious, him not winning it however is
something different, Davey never needed the belt to be the best, he just simply
was, and proved on more than one occasion.

How do you think smith stacks up career wise with other superstars who have graduated from The Hart Dungeon?

Michael  Finney: Whoever was trained by Stu Hart was superb, indeed. Stu
made the wrestlers worked hard. I think if anyone who could stood up to Davey in Skills wise was Owen. In the power wise, it's pretty hard to pick from but I'll
say either Harry Smith or Jim Neidhart.

Darren Hackett: myself Chevy I believe Davey was on par with Owen that's one of the things that I thought helped them to become a memorable team. I would have loved to have seen the dungeon in its heyday, wrestlers dreamt of being trained by Stu. Or just to see Stu.

Ok what do you believe is the main detriment that has prevented Smith's induction into the Hall of Fame?

Michael Finney: personal I don't know, some fans told me because Vince and Davey never got along. However, again, it's just what people read from the internet or the papers. No one really doesn't know the truth. A lot of fans feel it's because Davey was British exedra.

Does not winning the WWF or WHC champion hurt his chances of getting inducted into The HOF?

Michael Finney: Indeed not, Ko Ko Beware is in The Hall of Fame he never won the big one, Jerry Lawler and the list goes on of the wrestlers who are in the Hall of Fame but never won the big one. You don't need to win the big one to show how great your talent truly is and to be in the Hall of Fame. I understand the wrestlers get into the business to win the big one but you don't need the one championships to be a Hall of Famer.

With WrestleMania season just around the corner , do you have any more plans to promote this petition, and send it to people?

Michael Finney: For 24/7 I eat, sleep and drink the petition as the old saying goes. I'm working on sending paper petitions to wrestling events. Speaking of Wrestling events Ironfist wrestling as been amazing supporting the petition and so as The British Wrestling Radio. We have a group of over 400 fans in one Facebook group who comes up with amazing ideas on helping the petition, We call the group TeamDBS (Team Daveyboy Smith) and every member as been amazing!

If Smith is inducted into the 2014 HOF how will team DBS celebrate? Will you guys try to see it live in New Orleans or watch it on PPV?

Michael Finney: A lot of people as asked me this question. personal I feel it should be just the family who should be there but If I do get  a invite to be at the Hall of Fame by Diana, Georgia and Harry to see Davey being inducted, I would
love to go and see it with my own eyes, but I would be happy to watch the Hall
of Fame on television.

Ok last question . One day you go online or are watching Monday Night Raw and you suddenly see a video package for Davey boy Smith as a inductee into the hall of fame. In 2014 . What is going through yours and the rest of team DBS. Minds? What do you think the emotion would be like?

Michael Finney: personally, I'm a man who kind of believe full grew men shouldn't cry in anyway, even although I'm thinking wrong, I think I would just jump up with joy and have tears rolling down my face. As you know, me and TeamDBS been working on the petition along time and working hard on a daily base. It will feel like a dream come true not just for us but for England and rest of the Europeans. I also like to state I know how much this mean to the Hart Family and I just want to say me and rest of TeamDBS won't give up fighting.

Where can people go to sign the petition, follow you on twitter and
like team DBS on Facebook?

Michael Finney: You can  join
the TeamDBS Facebook team at https://www.facebook.com/groups/TeamDBS/ and you can follow me @MichaelFinney2
on Twitter and you can vote/sign the petition at www.Change.org.

The British Bulldog has received many accolades during his career in the WWE, including The WWF European title, the World tag team title and even the WWF Hardcore title. Although The British Bulldog never was able to win the WWF Title, he wowed fans for years with great moves, great matches, and even greater main event bouts. So join the fight to put The British Bulldog in The WWE Hall of Fame today by signing the petition here. Also look out for my interview with the creators of this awesome petition by next week, and hear their case for putting this legendary wrestler in the Hall of Fame.

After The Hell in A Cell Pay Per View and Monday Night Raw, we have
many questions answered. We have a new WWE Champion. We have a new World Heavyweight Champion, and more than one challenger eager to take the title off his hands. We also have a hopeful end to the CM Punk/ Paul Heyman feud. and a few new feuds that are just beginning, but with all these questions answered, what new questions should be in WWE fans mind?

Should Damien Sandow get another shot at the World Heavyweight title?:

The answer to this is clearly yes. The WWE spent a good amount of time putting together a decent push for Sandow by giving him the Money in The Bank Contract back in June, and it would just simply be a huge mistake not to at least see it through. Sandow did look good in the ring with Cena on Monday Night, and even held his own on many reversals and grapples throughout the match. Sandow even mimicked Cena's STF for a almost victory over the newly crowned World Champion. To many fans, it may look like the WWE is simply throwing out their push in Sandow, but with a match like that, and the crowd reaction one receives when wrestling Cena, the WWE may still be able to put Sandow in a Triple Threat match against Del Rio and Cena for the title at Survivor Series. Don't give up WWE fans. Sandow may  get his hands on the gold yet!

Is the feud between CM Punk and Paul Heyman over?:

Honestly, it really should be. It really only made sense with Brock Lesnar in the picture, and now with Lesnar not returning until WrestleMania season, it seems like it would be best for all parties to just move on. The WWE were fools for thinking Axel could or even deserved to carry out a feud with CM Punk. He is simply not on Punk's level and just couldn't bring the intensity to the feud that it needed. The addition of Ryback didn't do much for the feud either, as fans felt like it was just a redo of Punk and Ryback's feud last year for the WWE title. Also, the match at Hell in a Cell did little to silence fans doubts about that being the case. Hopefully now that Punk has defeated Ryback at Hell In a Cell, and gave Heyman the beating of his life with a Kendo stick atop the demonic cell structure, Punk can move on to bigger and better storylines. After Punk was attacked by The Wyatt Family following his street fight with Ryback Monday night, it seems the WWE is looking to go towards a much more satisfying direction  with The Second City Saint. The fact that Daniel Bryan also was attacked by The Wyatt Family on Raw last night, should make this new storyline venture just that much more compelling for fans. With the prospect of Bryan and Punk teaming up to battle The Wyatt Family on the horizon, we can only hope that this is a much better thought out storyline then Heyman versus Punk.

Will Big E. Langston's push be halted by Curtis Axel's injury on Smackdown?:

In all honesty, the WWE would be stupid not to continue the push they have given Big E. Langston over the past few weeks. Not that the WWE will care if someone calls them stupid, but just saying. This 5 foot 11, 290 pound beast is definitely what the WWE needs to build up other top talents and make the Mid-card interesting. Langston is a very versatile talent, that is able to both use his size and agility to his advantage over almost any opponent. What should really impress fans about Langston is his intensity during a match. The man is able to build up so much momentum simply by reversing his opponents signature moves with his shear power, making match endings more exciting when Langston is in the ring. After the announcement that Axel was injured and unable to compete at Hell In Cell against Langston, the WWE quickly rescheduled the match as Langston versus Dean Ambrose for the United States title, and also made the match for later in the evening, instead of the kickoff show where the original match was scheduled. Although Langston fought valiantly in his first title match in the WWE, his victory was a hollow one, as he beat Ambrose by count out and didn't win the title. After the match, Langston was able to hit The Big Ending on Dean Ambrose and give some life to their  new feud. Now with Langston feuding with The Shield's, Dean Ambrose, it seems like WWE will put their plans for Langston on the backburner for now and have Langston build up Ambrose for his eventual post-Shield singles run. I really wish the WWE would see the genuine talent they have with Langston and give him a run with The United States title, but it looks like the WWE is going to favor  building the Shield over any other mid card talent on the roster.

Will The Shield be splitting up soon?:

It really is about time the WWE finally break up one the most dominate factions in the history of the WWE. Since storming onto the scene last year at Survivor Series, The Shield have demolished everyone in their path with quick team work and raw power.  The Shield have had a amazing run that including a five month title reign by Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins, and a United States Championship reign by Dean Ambrose. Ambrose even had the honor of competing in the Money In The Bank Contract ladder match earlier this year. Although the Shield have been rewarded with long title reigns and endless monumental main event matches, it seems that the WWE is finally decided  to break up the boys in black and see what they can do on their own. The first sign of this split was when Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins lost the tag team titles to Goldust and Cody Rhodes three weeks ago on Raw.  The next big sign of The Shield's demise was when Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins were unable to recapture their title gold at Hell In Cell, making their fall just that much more evident. Now with the titles out of the hands of Rollins and Reigns, and Dean Ambrose touting his title gold on Raw, it seems jealousy will play the biggest factor in The Shields upcoming split. It's still unclear exactly how the break up will happen, but it seems like it will most likely involve both Rollins and Reigns turning on Ambrose and trying to capture his United States title. The Shield should be warned however, that Dean Ambrose is the baddest man around.

Did the WWE bury Daniel Bryan's push at Hell In Cell?:

Ok, time for some truth. Daniel Bryan is so buried at this point, their
having his pushes memorial service this weekend. The WWE has once again taking a viable and versatile talent, and completely buried him with almost victories in big Pay Per View matches, and horribly planned out screw jobs in others. The WWE has essentially done with Daniel Bryan, what they did to Ryback back in 2012. Minus all the momentum for Ryback, because he was a rebranded rookie at the time. They build up Ryback with a bunch of squash matches, had him get surprise wins over many top talents in the WWE, and then had him lose time and time again at Pay Per Views, with the title on the line. Same thing with Bryan. They built him up for months during his tag team title run with Kane, had him build even more momentum as a singles competitor, then put him in a passing of the torch match with John Cena, only to brutally bury him when it counted. The WWE Universe doesn't want to back a loser. They want to be in the corner of a guy who can and will get it done for his fans, and the WWE just isn't allowing Daniel Bryan to do that.  After Bryan was screwed at Hell In Cell, thanks to a surprise Sweet Chin Music by Shawn Michaels. Michaels attempted to apologize to Bryan the next night on Raw and get Bryan to shake his hand. After a few tense moments Bryan grabbed Michael's hand and put him in the Yes Lock for revenge. After the segment with Michaels, Bryan was viciously attacked by The Wyatt Family backstage, injuring Daniel Bryan and putting him in the hospital for the evening. This move definitely sets up both Punk, who was attacked later that night by The Wyatt Family, and Bryan for a feud with Bray Wyatt and the Wyatt Family. With that being said , only two questions remain. Who will be the new number one contender for The WWE title, and will Punk and Bryan be working together to battle Bray Wyatt and The Wyatt Family? Hopefully, the answer to the second one is Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Although it looks like Bryan's run in the main event is over, Bryan will remain a mid card megastar for years to come!

Although The Authority storyline involving Triple H, Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton continues to captivate The WWE Universe week after week with its thrilling twists and turns, the storyline itself looks dangerously close to reaching a unsatisfying and predictable climax at Hell in a Cell.

We all know the rumors that Vince McMahon is set to return to television after Hell in a Cell and battle his tyrant Son in Law for control of the WWE. We also know the ensuing fight will most likely center on what both men believe to be "best for business", but where does the storyline go from there? What exactly would be Vince McMahon's driving force to return to television? And more importantly, how does the WWE plan to make the feud fresh and exciting after their mini feud a few months back?

If the WWE is going to have Vince McMahon return to television and
battle his son, they need fresh and exciting angles to do so. They need
something that goes beyond the squared circle and the business altogether. If
this storyline is going to work the way the company needs it to, it needs to get personal between the characters in the story.

With Triple H on a massive power trip after screwing Daniel Bryan out of the title at Summerslam, Night of Champions and BattleGround. The WWE need to further his character development and have him turn on his own associates and family members  in a vicious and cruel manner. The double heel turn would allow for Stephanie McMahon, who has been on a power trip of her own lately, to turn face.

The best way to do this, is to have Triple H continue on his current power trip and start to flirt with some of the divas. The flirting will cause Stephanie to go irate and start building the storyline towards a affair. Finally Triple H will cross the line and be caught in the act with a diva by Stephanie, thus turning her face and giving her a reason to join her dad in the battle for the company.

The storyline itself would not only give a big boost to fan interest in the Main Event picture and The Authority storyline, but could  also allow for a quicker return by Divas Champion, AJ Lee, to take on a mouthpiece role in the company while she  recovers from her head injury she suffered at Battleground.

The WWE has tried their hand at affair storylines before, The most recent one being the failed romance between former Raw General Manager, AJ Lee and John Cena, but with fans already going wild from Big Show's knockout punch to Triple H last week on Raw, The WWE Universe is practically begging for  another reason to despise Triple H, and what better way to do so then having a affair while married to the bosses daughter?

Monday night Raw has a way of being unpredictable from time to time, and tonight's edition of the weekly flagship sports entertainment show was no exception  Instead of using the opening segment to cut promos between Triple H, Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan, the WWE decided to go a different route and let the Second City Saint speak his mind to the WWE audience.

The crowd stood and cheered multiple times during Punks promo, even prompting a round of Ryback sucks chants to show Punk their support for him heading into his match at Battleground. Punk, as always, delivered a great promo to the WWE Universe and really got some good shots in at Heyman  and his newly found prodigy, Ryback. Punk then demanded a fight between him and one of Paul Heyman's guys tonight on Raw, but was unfortunately stopped when Raw General Manager, Brad Maddox made his way to the ring with other plans in mind for Punk's evening.

Instead of getting his hands on Axel or Ryback, Punk would be forced into a match with Big E. Langston, who would get in a cheap shot on Punk to start the bout.  The match was very one sided at the beginning, with Langston's using his pure athletic power to keep Punk on the mat. Despite Langston's best efforts, Punk rallied late in the match, hitting a devastating driving elbow and the GTS for the victory over Langston.

Although I am glad to see Langston back in the mix in the WWE, using him out of nowhere to face one of the best performers in the Industry seemed really pointless . What made the match even more pointless was that their was no interference by Heyman, or his guys during Punk's match. If the WWE  wanted to advance a the storyline between Punk, Heyman and Ryback,  they could at least have had a promo segment between Punk and Heyman after the match, followed up by a sneak attack by Axel and Ryback.

As for Langston, it is truly mind blowing that WWE Creative put Langston with AJ Lee and Dolph Ziggler, and still failed to put this guy over. If those two top tier superstars couldn't even help launch Langston;s career, I doubt anything else will.

After Punks match,  Renee Young was then showed interviewing Heyman and asking him about if he worries that Punk is out to get him. The smug Phillidelphia lawyer turned mad scientist of ECW then turned the tables on Renee Young stating, that it must be sad for her and everyone else to see the rapid descent of such a promise talent in the WWE. Heyman then touted to Young and the rest of the WWE Universe that if CM Punk wants us, he can come get us, before leaving the segment area.

Later in the evening, Curtis Axel came to the ring with Paul Heyman for Axel's scheduled match against R-Truth.  What looked like a squash match early on, turned in to a very great match , as Truth continued to knock Axel off his feet with swift leg sweeps. Despite what looked like a comeback from Curtis Axel, a distraction by CM Punk's theme song and a swift lie detector would seal Axel's fate and give Truth the win. WHATS UP?

I wish the WWE would give these jobbers a better chance to get over in the ring and with the fans. After the locker room revolt two weeks ago, it seems the company has either written most of the jobbers associated with the storyline  off television, or put them in squash matches to help sell a another  storyline. Its sad when you look at how talented R-Truth is in the ring and on the microphone every night on Raw, but can't even come out of a match with a clean victory. What's up WWE? WHATS UP?

Back in the locker room, Heyman was shown discussing his appreciation for how Ryback saved  him from CM Punk at Night of Champions, even telling Axel that he put a spring in Heyman's step and that he wanted to make a proposal to him live on Raw..

The proposal itself was pretty bizarre as  Heyman held Ryback's hand and got on one knee to pop the question to the beast. After a few minutes of boo's and chants of no from the WWE Universe, Heyman finally asked Ryback if he would officially join him as a Paul Heyman Guy.

Before Ryback could answer Heyman's proposal, CM Punk's music hit, as Punk rushed through the arena crowd and hopped the barricade to the ringside area. All seemed to being going as planned until Punk collapsed on the arena floor from what looked like a knee injury.

Ryback, Axel and Heyman all looked on as Punk got his knee checked out at ringside, leaving fans in the crowd in shock and despair. Replays of the incident on the Jumbo screen showed that Punk may had hyper extended the knee as he jumped the barricade in his rush to ringside.

Punk then grabbed a kendo stick at Ringside, while Dr. Sampson was checking out his injury, and started swinging wildly at a bewildered Heyman. Punk didn't get his hands on Heyman for too long, as Ryback and Axel quickly rushed to their boss;' aid. Ryback and Axel's bravery were met with swift hits from Punk's kendo stick. Punk then took one more swing at Axel, before setting up Mr. Perfect's son for a swift GTS,  Making it the first time in weeks that Punk has had the upper hand on his opponents on Raw heading into a pay per view match. the added bonus of the segment, was watching Heyman sittingon the side of the entrance ramp almost in tears . Was The Walrus crying like a baby best for business? Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! YES!

To be completely honest, I thought this storyline between Punk and Heyman would  have been done and buried after Night Of Champions, but with the addition of Ryback to aid the already vicious Paul Heyman, and a much more angry CM Punk itching to get his hands on Heyman, the sky is definitely the limit in this no holds barred storyline.

Although I do hope this is the feud that catapults Punk into the Royal Rumbe picture later In the year, I really think this storyline should mainly benefit Ryback and give him a more stable position withen the company. Ryback  has a amazing move set and a even more spectacular ring presence, making him someone the WWE might want to invest even more time and pushes in as time goes on.

As for CM Punk and Ryback's match at WWE Battleground, the odds should fall in Punk's favor due to him losing consecutive bouts at Summerslam and Night of Champions. To have Punk continue to lose and job for other talent would be a huge mistake for the company, especially with the Road To WrestleMania just a few short months away.

The WWE has been very careful with Punk since his reign as Champion came to a end last year to The Rock at Royal Rumble, but with the back and forth feud between Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan picking up speed, the WWE might benefit from having Punk in the main event mix to aid Bryan in battling The Authority.

If Punk and Bryan were able to somehow join forces in the fight against Triple H and his stable, the WWE would be creating a firestorm by putting their top faces together to battle the top heels of the company. Add another top heel to the main event conversation, maybe say Wade Barrett Seth Rollins or even Ryback, and you have a Fatal Four Way pay per view match that is sure to sell out arenas everywhere!

Could it really just be that kind of year for WWE Superstar, CM Punk? You know, the kind of year you just want to forget about? Or is CM Punk’s rollercoaster 2013 season just a sign of WWE wanting to build up a storyline similar to what they did one year ago?

Let’s look at the year CM Punk has had so far.  He lost the WWE title, after a historic 434 day reign, to The Rock at the Royal Rumble. Then lost again to The Rock in their rematch at The Elimination Chamber Pay per View. After the loss at Elimination Chamber, Punk challenged The Undertaker to a match at WrestleMania 29 and lost again.

After his loss to Undertaker at WrestleMania 29, Punk announced that he would be going on hiatus from wrestling for a few months. The hiatus was short lived, as Punk returned two months later and defeated Chris Jericho at Payback in April.

Punk followed up his victory at Payback by banning his longtime manager and friend, Paul Heyman, from joining him at ringside during matches anymore leaving Heyman deeply hurt and angry by Punk. A week later during a backstage segment, Punk comforted Heyman by saying that people like Brock Lesnar and Curtis Axel needed Heyman’s services, but not Punk.

Punk’s words didn’t sit well with Heyman’s other client, Brock Lesnar, who later surprised Punk after a match and nailed The Second City Saint with a vicious F-5 that left Punk motionless as Monday Night Raw went off the air. After the attack, some fans speculated that the attack was preplanned, due to Heyman’s anger at Punk’s betrayal, but Heyman later assured Punk on Raw, that Brock Lesnar attacked Punk without his knowledge.

Paul Heyman’s anger would prove costly for Punk though, as Heyman later interfered in Punk’s ladder match at Money in the Bank. Beating Punk in the back with a ladder several times as he stood fingertips away from retrieving The Money in the Bank Briefcase, Heyman’s relentless shots with the ladder, caused Punk to crash back down to the ring, and ultimately lose his chance at becoming WWE Champion again.

The betrayal didn’t sit well with Punk, who ordered Heyman to give Punk an explanation for his actions at the Money In The Bank Pay Per View. Heyman surprised Punk by coming to the ring with Brock Lesnar by his side. After
a few words were exchanged between Heyman and Punk, Lesnar attacked Punk, eventually hitting him with an F-5 onto the announce table.

The feud climaxed with a match between Lesnar and Punk at Summerslam, where despite many comebacks by Punk, Lesnar, with help from Paul Heyman, finally hit Punk with an F-5 onto a chair and got the three count forthe victory.

Following the loss at Summerslam, Punk vowed revenge on Heyman for his continued interference in his matches, and began feuding with Heymans
other prodigy, Curtis Axel. The feud culminated when Raw General Manager, Brad Maddox, announced a Tag Team Elimination Match at Night of Champions. The match came with the added stipulation that Heyman would have to step in the ring with CM Punk if Curtis Axel is eliminated.

At Night of Champions, Punk was able to force Axel to tap out to
the anaconda vice, forcing Heyman to step in the ring with Punk. Punk took great joy in dismantling his former manager and friend, as he beat him with any object he could get his hands on.

The seemingly assured victory was short lived however, as Ryback
came out of nowhere to aid Paul Heyman in his time of need. The beast then
quickly speared Punk through a table, before picking up a lifeless Paul Heyman
and dropping him on top of Punk for the victory.

I know it’s hard to believe, but if you look at all of CM Punk’ pay per view matches this year. He is 1-6 in pay per view bouts. Even worse than that, it seems he will be going 1-7 if he jobs for Ryback during their storyline in the coming months

I know all CM Punk fans must be a little disappointed in Punk’s performance this calendar year, but there may be a silver lining to all this jobbing Punk has been doing this these past few months. If we look back at 2012, ten time WWE Champion, John Cena, was having a particularly hard time in the WWE as well.

Cena lost to The Rock at WrestleMania 28 in Miami Florida, then got attacked by Brock Lesnar the following night on Raw. The attack would ultimately lead to match at Extreme Rules, which Cena would win. Cena then lost to John Laurinitals at Over The Limit, with help from a timely interference by The Big show, and was forced to fight for his job in a steel cage match against The Big Show at No Way out, in which Cena again came out victorious.

With his feud with Laurinitus and Big Show over, Cena was able to
win the briefcase for the WWE title at Money in The Bank, battling Kane, Big
Show, Miz and Chris Jericho to win the coveted briefcase. John Cena cashed in
his briefcase at Raw 1000 in July, only to lose by disqualification to CM Punk
after Big Show interfered in the match.

Big Show’s attack on Cena continued, until The Rock finally ran down to make the save on Cena’s behalf. Cena then battled CM Punk and Big Show in a triple Threat Match at SummerSlam. Despite Cena’s great efforts, he would once again come up short to CM Punk. Cena got a second chance for the WWE title at Night of Champions, where the match was ruled a draw, and the title was once again retained by Punk.

After an arm injury sidelined Cena at Hell in a Cell, Cena made his return at Survivor series in a Triple Threat Match against CM Punk, and Ryback. Again, despite many opportunities for Cena to win the title during the bout, the match would be ruled a draw after The Shield attacked Ryback in their WWE debut.

Cena then faced Punk again at the Vengeance Pay Per view, only to lose again to Punk, this time by pin fall. Cena’s biggest downfall however, came at WWE TLC, where Cena looked poised to capture Dolph Ziggler’s coveted Money in The Bank briefcase, before he was betrayed by AJ Lee, who knocked him off the ladder, allowing Ziggler to win the match.

Looking over those stats of John Cena, you will notice he also spent the year jobbing for young and upcoming talent in the WWE. In fact, Cena didn’t only have a record of 3-7 in pay per view matches in 2012, but also never held the WWE title in 2012 either.

But all that changed at the 2013 Royal Rumble, when John Cena defied the odds once again and won the 30 many bout by eliminating Ryback in the closing stages of the match. John Cena then went on to battle The Rock at WrestleMania 29, and recapture the title that eluded him for all of 2012.

With the year that CM Punk has endured, one can only hope this will be the case for him as well in 2014. Signs look particularly promising that this will happen, especially with a feud with Ryback on the horizon to help Punk gain momentum for the Royal rumble in January.

With Punk’s 2013 being very similar to Cena’’s 2012, a logical guess would be that the WWE will be repeating the redemption storyline, starting at the Royal Rumble. From there, it is literally anyone’s guess who will have the honor of facing Punk at WrestleMania 30, or even what kind of storyline they build the match around.

My hope is that the storyline will be CM Punk joining the babyfaces of the WWE and fighting the corporation, along with their many goons. It would be interesting to see if the WWE decides to revive his old 2011 role as the voice of the voiceless for the new storyline, but with Punk’s excellence on the microphone, and his ability to have great matches no matter the situation or opponent, it seems like the WWE could put him in any storyline and it would work perfectly.

The only real problem I see with raising Punk back to the main event card, is what will happen to Daniel Bryan then? Will the WWE just kill off his momentum and stick him back in the mid-card or filler matches, or could the WWE find a way to stick Bryan into Punk’s storyline as well? Maybe a triple threat, or even fatal four way match for the WWE Title at WrestleMania 30.

I know the possibility of this happening is looking very slim at the moment. Especially with the newly formed storyline between CM Punk and Ryback set to culminate at WWE, Battleground next month, but instead of looking at his feud with Ryback as just another storyline in the never ending soap opera of the WWE, look at it as just the thing Punk needs to get him over and give him the push to win the Royal Rumble. Hey, stranger things have happened!
